Position Summary: Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional shopping experience for all Ace Cafe Guests.

Each sales associate’s primary objective is to guide guests through our store providing great customer service and knowledge on all products.

Reports to:  You will directly report to your scheduling manager.

Areas of Responsibility & Duties

• Welcome and greet guests upon entering the store.  Make all Ace Cafe Guests feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to personally take care of them.
• Engage our Guests, talk about what they rode in on or what car they brought to show off.
• Make recommendations based on what the guest is looking for or hints towards being interested in during discussions.
• Practice suggestive selling as a form of salesmanship as well as guiding guests to items they may be looking for.
• Be knowledgeable and ready to answer questions on all things happening on Ace property like menu items, events, festivals, the Stonebridge Gallery, car shows and meets, etc.
• Accurately enter items into our point of sale to ensure correct inventory levels.
• Multi-task to create a seamless shopping experience for all guests at all times.
• Continuously stock, clean, and organize fixtures and merchandise throughout the store.
• Complete merchandising tasks in a timely manner.
• Maintain clean service areas.
• Prepare final purchase, clearly present purchase total to guest.  Accept payment, process credit card charges or make change when needed.
• Be ready and willing to assist fellow Ace Cafe team members, teamwork is the foundation of our success.
• Thank Guests for their visit and invite them to return.
• Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Accept responsibility for checking your own schedule each week. Be punctual and reliable.
• Display Honesty and Integrity in all interactions.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning duties in a timely manner
• Be in full uniform, including practicing good hygiene

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time (8 hours or more)
• Reach, bend and stoop frequently
• Be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Frequent washing of hands

Knowledge and Skills:

• Possess excellent communication skills in order to verbally interact with management, servers, team members and Guests.
• Be able to multi-task effectively.
• Must have an outgoing and cheery disposition.
• Must be confident and have the ability to apply gentle assertiveness when necessary.
• Must learn all facets of service, merchandise, and information about Ace Cafe
